Thanksgiving and Disney on Ice!

As you can see Kassidy didn't quite make it to eat Thanksgiving dinner with the rest of us...she literally fell asleep while she was eating! I would put the spoon to her lips and she would take a bite, all while her eyes were closed! It was hilarious! It was a lot of excitement for a little one. We had a great Thanksgiving - we have a lot to be thankful for.

Grandma, Mallory, Kassidy and I went to see Disney on Ice yesterday - Saige didn't come with us as she is going today with a friend. It was a fabulous show - as always!

Kassidy was enthralled with watching everything...she took a short nap about halfway through and woke up happy as a clam and enjoyed the second half of the show.
Mallory had to get the cotton candy as it came with this nifty crown.

Here is a video of Kassidy watching the show - she was waving and she had to take breaks for some goldfish crackers as she h as a figure to maintain!

Kassidy loved Mickey and Minnie Mouse as she knew who they were since they are featured on her diapers!

Mallory liked all of the princesses and the characters from all of the shows.

Now Thanksgiving is over and it is time to think about getting out the Christmas tree...ugh, that will be a challenge this year with a little curious one! You tell Kassidy no and she will turn around and look at you, grin, and do it again! ACK! I think it is the red hair?

Trip to Nashville, TN

We had a wonderful trip to Nashville last week! The weather there was fabulous and we were able to do and see things that we hadn't before...the girls LOVED this park by Mimi's house.

We walked to the park since it was so nice outside...it was hilarious as the girls played so hard they whined that they wanted me to walk back and get the car and come get them! Cracked me up as when I said no they started jogging back to Mimi's house, so apparently they weren't TOO worn out!
We spent a couple hours at Opry Mills - which is my favoritest place in the whole wide world! Kassidy liked the car as she loves to sit and "drive" in grocery carts.

Saige liked the shark statue by the Aquarium Restaurant - we didn't eat there, though, as the girls ALWAYS want to eat at Rainforest Cafe.

On Saturday night Lee's brothers and their families came to Mimi's for Thanksgiving dinner - everyone hada a good visit...especially the little kids!

Ben calls Kassidy his baby

Kassidy didn't take too long to figure out how to open presents...LOL

Cousin Mackenzie with Kassidy

I think she should be an advertisement for Steak and Shake!
We stopped at a rest area for a break. Everyone was glad for a chance to get OUT of the car.

One of the highlights of our trip was going to the Adventure Science Center - what an awesome place!

Lee got to try out the segway

They all tried out the wheelchairs - they had basketball to play in them and then the phones - so the kids could get a feel for what it is like to try and do things.

They really enjoyed the part where they got to don a doctor's lab coat and play doctor!

All in all it was a great trip...it is getting late and my eyes are bleary...more later!
