Family fun

What a weekend! Seems like it just began and now it is over! Started out with family movie night at the girls' school - they showed Hotel for Dogs in the gym. Everyone brought blankets and chairs and the PTO sold hot dogs, nachos, cotton candy...a grand time was had by all!

Here is Saige with her new friend Trinity

Here is Mallory with her new friend Laiesha

Kassidy and daddy reading her new book before the movie started...we have a huge Elmo fan on our hands.

Then we had a double slumber party --- Saige invited Macie over and Mallory had McKenzie over to spend the nite. So we had a a full house! We had some bickering, but overall they did great. Kassidy found them to be entertaining.

Waterslide fun!

Mallory had her first soccer game today --- she had a blast as she made two goals! It was awesome - course she was bummed that daddy and Grandma were not there to see it. Lee had to stay home with Kassidy as she had a runny nose and was grumpy -- so we thought a huge nap would do her good.

Coach Gary is so good with the girls --- he coached Saige's first two years as well as Saige played with his oldest daughter.

Here's the soccer star getting ready to sink ger first goal!

And last but not least...here's the big girl!

8 months old already?

As you can see it is hard work to be 8 months old...

Kassidy is a bouncing fool - she loves to bounce and one night she literally bounced herself to sleep! It was hilarious, poor lil' soul!

We are learning how to use a spoon...well sort of. She holds one and plays with it while I feed her with another one - it's her way of feeling a part of the process I guess! She has decided that bottles are for babies and she only wants FOOD, preferably whatever everyone else is having, none of that slimy baby food. UGH!

So she has tried all sorts of new foods lately...broccoli and rice casserole was a huge hit, along with hot dog bits, chicken, hamburger, spaghetti, eggs, yogurt, ice cream, cottage cheese, green beans...I don't think there is much she won't eat when it comes to the real deal. She is MUCH more picky when we are talking baby food, though, as she will not touch ANY of the green veggies gerber style. LOL Amazing what two teeth can do!

The big girls started soccer again. Saige has had two games, but Mallory hasn't had her first one yet. They both really enjoy it and have fun playing.
Saige is on the Turquoise Tornadoes.

Kassidy loves to be outside so she likes going to the games so far.....here she is with daddy.

I can't type more tonight as I am one handed...Kassidy is wanting momma! I will leave you with this pic of my three beautiful girls...and try to post again soon!
