Play date!

I don't have a lot of time to post tonight as I need to be working on laundry and getting everyone packed....Lee's dad passed away this morning and we are headed to Nashville for the funeral. We get back the day before Saige leaves for church camp -- so I have to have her packed and ready to go for the most part as we won't have much turn around time in between trips! Please continue to pray for Lee's family as although we are rejoicing that Pop is in heaven and out of pain --- our selfish human selves will miss him incredibly. The girls adore him and this will be hard for them to process and deal with - as it has been two years since my dad's death and they still miss Papa...& now they have to deal with losing Pop.

Kassidy had her first real play date this week -- with her pal Delainey, who will be one in August. Kassidy would sit and watch her toodle around in her walker or crawling on the floor with this look on her face like "hmmm...I think I could do that?". We had a fun time with good friends! I didn't manage to get pics of the big girls - I don't think they sat still long enough!

Hard to believe that Kassidy is only 5 1/2 months old! She is such a big girl - it seems like she grows by leaps and bounds every day! She is very jealous that Delainey has hair!

You can't be around Delainey without grinning! She is such a doll!

Kassidy seems to be teething - for the most part she is quite somber this week! She is chewing on just about anything she can get her hands on...Macey Mouse is the favorite of the evening.

My new addiction is couponing...I figure you HAVE to buy groceries, etc, so why not spend a tiny bit of extra time and get things really cheap??? It's a challenge and I am learning the ropes - couponing is a hard core activity, I found! Check out my favorite website - www.afullcup.com. I find awesome things on there every day! Boy is it saving us money!

Learning to use the new camera...

OK it is naptime and we are having a meltdown, but I thot I would post this new video...I am learning to take them with the new camera. As you can see Kassidy is quite taken with her sisters...even when they play a bit rough!

Birthday weekend

Like this silly girl? She learned how to blow raspberries...the girls keep telling her she isn't supposed to be spitting! LOL We had a busy busy weekend...I am not ready for tomorrow to be Monday, that is for sure!

Saturday morning the girls woke up before me and brought me breakfast in bed - they are such sweethearts. I am 33 now - man that seems old! My mom gave me an awesome new camera - a purple Olympus Master 2 which takes some awesome pics! I have had a ball learning how to use it today!

That's my new motto...ha ha. Somehow the double chin and thunder thighs ae adorable on her...but not so much as you get old like me!

The girls went to the Royals game with daddy today - they went with folks from church. They had a blast! There was a Mercy Me concert after the game. They came home full of stories tonight about their adventures!

While they were gone all day, Kassidy and I spent the afternoon/evening with my cousin Tina who was in town from AZ and my Aunt Sue and Uncle Dick, who were also in town for the weekend. Kassidy was a charmer and full of smiles for everyone!

As you can see my new camera takes fantabulous pics! Lucky for me Ms Kassidy was all smiles today so she was a great subject while I learned how to operate it! There are lotsa cool features...

Please continue to pray for Lee's family - his dad is not doing well at all and they have taken him off his meds. The end is near and though we are ever so thankful that God is preparing his mansion in heaven...it will still be hard. I am worried about how the girls will take it - they sure love their Pop. They still talk about Papa a lot - it's two years this month he has been gone. We anticipate a trip to Nashville soon for the funeral.
